The Kennel

I had my first shibalitter 1984. I had a few litters the coming years though my breeding really started with my Norwegian import Umai av Enerhaugen.
Stämmlocks have been my prefix between May 2002 - Dec 2009. As I was only a partner in Stämmlocks, I changed my kennelprefix to Sutamuroku. Sutamuroku is also my prefix in NIPPO.
Sutamuroku shiba is a small kennel situated nearby Linköping in the south of Sweden.
The shiba inu dog has lived with me since 1977 when "Pojke", Shishio Toriumisow, came into my life. Some years later he was followed by his daughter "Josefin", Manlötens Quin-Kanzi. These dogs are the beginning, and my bitch Zum-Zum represents this bloodline.
My japanese import Homare No Kochou Go Takahirasou "Hana" has come to mean a lot in my breeding. Through Hana I have got beatiful offspring, willing to work. They are fantastic movers.
I train my dogs in rally obediance and bloodtracking. I compete with some. They also get a lot of exersize. Of course they are also showed.
In my kennel 1-4 litters are born every year. The pups are treated as family members until the day they leave. From week 5-6 - 8 the pups lives among my other dogs, which makes them very used to meet different grown-ups.
The buyers of the pups are selected carefully - a shiba lives for 12-15 years. It has to suit its new family - and the family has to suit the pup. They are going to be parts in each others lifes for many years to come. It is also my hope the people who buys pups from me, should come back for help and support the rest of the dogs life.
My goal is a healthy, wellfunctioning, working dog with a look as near the japanese NIPPO standard as possible.
